Tigard and Beaverton Auto Repair

I have a regular mechanic that I trust but when my 4-Runner's 4-wheel drive failed, the repair needed was not within the scope of work my shop does. It was worrisome for me to find someone else and trust the work and the people doing it. I ended up at Tigard SUV because they had a good track record and had been around a long time. They carefully analyzed the problem which involved an expensive part as well as a very long labor time. They explained why it took so long and even showed me pictures to give me a better understanding. My car was due to be picked up on a Friday and unfortunately the problem wasn't entirely fixed. They gave me a loaner car for the weekend. Monday morning the owner called me himself to say the car was finished and I was not charged for the small additional work that was required to completely repair it. Dan stood behind his original estimate. This demonstrated true integrity which is so valuable.

Dan and his crew have always been very exact on their diagnosis of my cars issues. They really do a great job. Prices are steep , but you get what you pay for. I always feel confidentin the work they do.

The crew handled my car with aplomb and answered my questions with lugubriousness.

As always, the service was excellent, top notch and always friendly. When warrented Margaret or Dan take the time to explain what is going on with our vehicles so we can make an informed decision. I also appreciate that the service crew check other areas of our vehicles that may need attention. From the front desk to the service bay I consider Tigard SUV a real jewel of the neighborhood. This is just my second time at Tigard SUV but each time they impress me with their responsiveness but also just how they discuss my car's issues. There's never any pressure, just open talk about the problems and how to prioritize the fixes so I don't have to spend too much money at one time. I really appreciate the honesty and concern for my wallet.

Overall, an excellent experience... from the initial contact to finished work. Everyone was friendly and very professional. I was particularly impressed with explanation of services needed and the quote for this service was anywhere from $80-$250 less than the competitors. Close to home, friendly staff, reasonable pricing of parts and labor... yeah, you have found a new customer. Next month... that long, overdue tune-up. Thanks Margaret, Dan and crew.

My last appointment to have work done on our 2003 Altima went great! Not only did SUV replace the wheel bearing/hub in our car but they also did their complimentary safety inspection that turned up low engine oil and a clogged air filter. The new hub fixed the noise problem we had and they also replaced it for almost $100 less than what I was quoted at Les Schwab

I had turn signal light burn out and did a quick Google search looking for help. I called the shop and spoke to a very nice woman with superb customer service skills. She got me a same day appointment that was convenient for me. Tigard SUV & Auto Repair is my new home for auto repairs.
