A while back we brought in an '89 Jeep Wrangler with a 2000 custom engine comp. We had tried many places to fix our problems, which were a lot for such an old Jeep. Every place we went to would do some work and charge us so much and we would not see results we really needed. Most places said: "I could do as much as 'this', but I couldn't figure out how to get to the rest to fix 'that'". Tigard SUV did not stiff us on a lousy job just for the pay. They did a lot of research, and found the original place that did the custom job ~ AND they didn't charge us for it!!! Truly ethical, caring and fantastic people! Recently, we bought a 2002 Ford Ranger and took it to them to check it out beforehand. They were VERY thorough, and got everything up to par on the Ford. We had a tough time with the battery, as we didn't own the truck yet. Tigard SUV let us take our battery from our Jeep (After checking to make sure it was compatible for us first!), put it in the truck, and leave our Jeep there until we could get a ride back to pick our Jeep up. We were so complicated, anf they made everything so easy, without complaint, or judgment, they helped in any way they could! We are buying two more cars soon, and will be taking our business there from now on, everytime! (Except for the Jeep, due to their wonderful help!) We have been taking my SUV (Sante Fe) and my daughters SUV (Toyota Highlander) to Tigard SUV for service for the last 2-3- years. I have never been disappointed. They approach the estimate in a very straight forward and cost effective manner. I appreciate that they do not pressure to add on more work than is necessary to fix the problem. My last experience was towing my Sante Fe into their shop. There was a delay of 3 days due to a part that had to be ordered from Hyndai and they were out of loaner cars. So they recommened a rental dealership they have a relationship with for a very low daily rate. I picked up the rental and the next day Tigard SUV called and said they had a returned loaner and I was able to change from a rental to a loaner car. I dropped the rental off at Tigard SUV and picked up the loaner which saved me about $150.00. We have so much confidence in Tigard SUV and Auto Repair that we will be taking my husbands Porsche to them for service as soon as the warranty runs out on that vehicle. We highly recommend Tigard SUV and auto repair because their work product is excellent and the people at Tigard SUV are exceptional!
