First time here was a good experience. They found and fixed a problem that the Kia dealer couldn’t, and their quote for brake work was competitive with another quote I already had. They kept schedule promise and came in just under the estimate. Only nit is that the free loaner car was quite grubby inside.

We are relatively new to the Portland area and, like many others, have been working from home for many months now. In fact, our routine has changed so much that we've decided to sell one of our cars. Before putting it on the market, I decided to get it inspected and found Tigard SUV and Auto Repair when I went online and typed in, “Auto repair near me.” Once I read the many glowing reviews, I decided to stop by and see for myself. At the shop, I met Chris and Rick and we had a good discussion about inspecting the car. I could see why they had been reviewed so highly; these guys were very professional, offered good advice, and no there was no hard sell. I brought the car back the next morning for a Prepurchase Inspection ($161) and was told it would be completed by 1:00pm. Around mid-day, I received a digital copy of the inspection report via email and a call from Chris. He walked me through the report and answered my questions. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the inspection and report and the feedback I received on the call with Chris. In the end, we found out that the car is in very good condition and I now have a report, from a very reputable shop, that I can share with a prospective buyer. Our first experience with Tigard SUV and Auto Repair was GREAT, and it aligns very well with the experience of others who have shared their reviews.

Tigard SUV will always be my go-to place for any of my cars! I started taking my 1997 Ford Explorer to them back in 2005 or 2006 when she was starting to show signs of reaching the end. Tigard SUV kept her running safe for another 6 years until 2012 when I had to tell her goodbye. I bought a 2012 Ford Escape and recently hit 115,000 miles on her but realized she wasn't running that great. So I took her to Tigard SUV and they did a really thorough inspection. After they went through all the key things that were needed I opted to get the work done. After I got her back it was like driving a brand new vehicle!!! The really impressive thing about the experience with Tigard SUV is not just the friendly and helpful staff but they send you an email with a digital inspection report listing the results of the 35 point inspection with an overall vehicle health rating. They rank each item they check as to Passing, Non-Urgent, Urgent. If you have your brakes checked there is a separate report for that as well. They even provide videos to explain the issue, or the vehicle element (like coolant hoses and why they should be replaced at some point). So happy with the service there!!
