Courteous, thorough service. Some problems were discovered which needed fixing and I was kept informed of the shop's process every step of the way.

Went for diagnostic review only. Told them about a couple of possible things that another shop had recommended. At first they thought they were fixing those as well as the diagnostic, even though I told them no when making the appointment. But, on arrival they did not push the other services and the diagnostic found that there was nothing wrong, even with the things another shop recommended. Did not "find"anything they could do to make more money. Seem very honest.But, they are very busy. I was not able to talk to the technician directly as he was working on 2-3 cars at the same time.

My 2010 Jeep Patriot was making some strange noises. The dealership, where I normally take it, could not get me in for a week. Tigard SUV was referred to me by a colleague in my office. I went right over. Chris listened to my car, said they would have the problem diagnosed, call me with the problem(s), solution, and options. Everything was handled very professionally, completed on time (actually earlier than promised!), by a friendly and caring staff. Chris took the time to explain what needed to be done now and future care to keep my vehicle in tip-top condition. Tigard SUV & Auto Repair exceeded my expectations. I have found my "forever" car repair shop! I will be happy and confident to recommend them to all of my friends.

Friendly and trustworthy management/ Staff

I brought my truck in to have the brakes done. I got a call a couple hours later informing me that the brakes were good, and did not need replacement. I appreciate the honesty shown here. Other mechanics would have likely just gone ahead and done the repair, regardless of the need. I will be using the service here for other maintenance needs.
