I was recently looking for a mechanic closer to home and the first thing that attracted me to Tigard SUV & Auto Repair was their sponsorship of my daughter's high school sports team and all of the support they offered to youth sports. While my first experience was an expensive one, Chris did a great job of breaking things down and letting me know the why behind all of the work they were doing. As a female it SUCKS to have car troubles! There is a HUGE sign on your head saying please take advantage of me. I never got this feel for these guys. They were also really great at braking things down for me, and never pressured me on anything. It feels so good to know there are companies and people out there not just trying make a quick buck. I will always be a faithful customer!

Finding a reliable mechanic is stressful. When you aren't a car expert you always wonder how much of what you are told about needing X Y or Z done to your car is actually needed versus upselling. Professional and honest - they are not out to make a quick buck on repairs you don’t need. Chris always takes the time to personally call and explain the repairs needed and to go over the cost. He lets you know if there are any safety issues that should be addressed sooner than later and those that could wait for a later time. This is the place to take your vehicle!!

The people at Tigard SUV have serviced my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee for years, always providing the best of care at a reasonable price. They are great at letting me know when a repair is an immediate necessity or when it can be monitored for awhile.
